GEO Health Community of Practice Annual Meeting 2024 - Day 2

The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Health Community of Practice is pleased to host the Town Hall entitled, NASA Earth Science in Action, at the American Geophysical Union annual meeting (December 9-13, 2024) on Wednesday, December 11 from 6:00-7:00PM EST/GMT-5). This town hall showcases SERVIR (partnership of NASA and USAID), GEO Health Community of Practice (CoP), and Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP), as three examples that expand the use of satellite data to address critical challenges in food security, water security, weather and climate resilience, ecosystem and carbon management, and air quality and health. Please join and give us feedback about environmental priorities, build bridges to scientific resources and partners working towards similar challenges across geographic regions, improve use of satellite data across diverse disciplines, and listen to users’ needs at different scales.
