The AmeriGEO Week 2021 will be held virtually from August 23-27, 2021, with support from the Central American Integration System (Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana, SICA) and the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources of El Salvador. Using the theme, “Advancing Collaboration and Data Integration for Decision Support”, this event aims to bring communities together to identify the synergies and paths toward collaboration among regional efforts related to the integration of Earth observations, geographic, statistical, and other information. As a community, we recognize that data integration is the first step toward transforming data into meaningful and valuable information for decision-making and that a joint effort is needed to achieve this goal. These talks intend to elevate the conversation beyond programmatic updates and facilitate an insightful discussion about multilateral cooperation.
