The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Health Community of Practice is pleased to host the next community teleconference on Tuesday, May 18th from 8:30AM-10AM EDT (GMT-4). This meeting will focus on infectious disease research applications. First, Assaf Anyamba (USRA/NASA Goddard) will provide an overview of his research that prepares global risk maps of chikungunya risk and predicts outbreaks up to three months in advance (CHIKRisk App). Then, Antar Jutla (University of Florida) will present an update from the Infectious Disease Small Work Group. We hope that these presentations focusing on infectious diseases will continue to strengthen our scientific networks!
